How Pine is Responding to the COVID-19 Pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic is indiscriminately disrupting the business activities, and lives within companies around the world. Our team at Pine Environmental Services, LLC, (Pine), sympathize with those whose families and friends have been impacted by this virus. Our highest priority is to the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, clients, vendors, and all with whom we come in contact. We are committed to supporting the containment of the virus while maintaining operational readiness and ensuring that you have access to the products, services and support that you expect from us. We are all in this together.
To achieve this commitment, we are actively educating our staff and raising awareness of this evolving situation. We have proactively implemented many precautionary measures including the restriction of all dispensable travel of our employees. Recognizing the importance of purposeful and transparent, internal and external communication, we have pivoted to a predominant use of virtual meetings.
Our employees have been re-educated about, and encouraged to practice proper hygiene and social distancing. Guidance from the CDC, WHO, and other State and Federal health agencies are being regularly communicated within our organization. Our Branch Managers have increased the frequency of sanitizing commonly touched hard surfaces in our work areas. This action further assures that all our rental equipment is properly cleaned and that our staff is taking the necessary precautions to reduce risk of transmission. In instances of potential exposure, we will implement a 14-day self-quarantine protocol.
We understand that within our industry, the needs of the public will prevail, and your work activities will continue. We want you to know that we will be there to support you. Our Business Continuity Plan enables us to process and ship essential equipment within North America, with minimal disruption; and to communicate electronically with you and your staff even in the event that our local branch office is required to close for a limited time. Will this always be easy and seamless; no. At times, it will require additional planning and exceptional effort, but together, we will provide you with the support that your customers, staff and projects need.
As always, we at Pine remain dedicated to providing you with the highest level of service and support. Working together we will get through these challenging times and emerge stronger.
