Eddy Current Inspection
Equipment available for both rental and purchase
Eddy current inspection (ET) is one of several non-destructive testing methods that use the principal of electromagnetic induction to detect flaws in conductive materials. Eddy current is well suited to detect small cracks as well as other forms of discontinuities at or near the surface of the material, the surface preparation is minimal, and complex specimen geometry can be inspected.
Pine provides eddy current instruments as well as ferrite measurement instruments for many applications such as:
- Crack detection
- Tube inspection
- Material thickness
- Coating thickness
- Conductivity assessment
- Material identification
- Excessive heat damage detection
- Heat treatment monitoring
We provide our customers with access to wide variety of eddy current inspection instruments from manufacturers such as Olympus and GE Inspection Technologies.
Pine provides a first-class technical support service as well as advice on which product will be best suited to your needs. Our quality management system insures that all equipment is tested and calibrated to manufacturer’s specifications when you receive it. To find out more, please select from the products listed below.
