The American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT)

ASNT was founded in 1941 (under the name of The American Industrial Radium and X-Ray Society) and currently boasts a membership of nearly 13,000. The Society is structured into local Sections (or chapters) throughout the world. There are over 80 chartered local Sections in over 12 countries. Our membership represents a wide cross-section of NDT practitioners working in manufacturing, construction, education, research, consulting, services, and the military.
AIHA is the association for scientists and professionals committed to preserving and ensuring occupational and environmental health and safety (OEHS) in the workplace and community. Founded in 1939, we support our members with expertise, networks, comprehensive education programs, and other products and services that help them maintain the highest professional and competency standards. More than half of AIHA's nearly 8,500 members are Certified Industrial Hygienists, and many hold other professional designations. AIHA serves as a resource for those employed across the public and private sectors and the communities in which they work.
The American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG), founded in 1963, is the largest association dedicated to promoting geology as a profession. It presently has more than 5,000 members in the U.S. and abroad, organized into 35 regional Sections. The Institute adheres to the principles of professional responsibility and public service and is the only international organization that certifies the competence and ethical conduct of geological scientists in all branches of the science with members employed in industry, government, and academia. AIPG emphasizes competence, integrity and ethics. AIPG is an advocate for the profession and communicates regularly to federal and state legislators and agencies on matters pertaining to the geosciences.
Founded in 1907, the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan professional organization enhancing knowledge and expertise by providing a neutral forum for information exchange, professional development, networking opportunities, public education, and outreach to more than 5,000 environmental professionals in 65 countries. A&WMA promotes global environmental responsibility and increases the effectiveness of organizations to make critical decisions that benefit society.
Missouri Waste Control Coalition (MWCC) is a 400-member not-for-profit organization which is concerned with environmental issues. The statewide organization is a coalition of citizens, businesses, consultants, regulators, and others concerned with the management and disposal of generated wastes and other environmental issues.
Annually, the MWCC sponsors the MWCC Environmental Conference, a conference that has run continuously since 1972, making it one of the oldest environmental conferences in the nation. The MWCC offers periodic training throughout the state, and offers various other educational programs. It also provides college scholarships and recognizes outstanding achievement through its annual award program.
National Association of Environmental Professionals
The National Association of Environmental Professionals (NAEP) is a multi-disciplinary association for professionals dedicated to the advancement of the environmental professions, a forum for state-of-the-art information on environmental planning, research and management, and a network of professional contacts and exchange of information among colleagues in industry, government, academia, and the private sector.
NAEP acts as a resource for structured career development from student memberships to certification as an environmental professional and is a strong proponent of ethics and the highest standards of practice in the environmental professions.
Association of Engineering & Environmental Geologist
AEG is the acknowledged international leader in environmental and engineering geology, and is greatly respected for its stewardship of the profession. AEG offers information on environmental and engineering geology useful to practitioners, scientists, students, and the public. Other geosciences organizations recognize the value of using and sharing AEG's outstanding resources.
The Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) builds leaders and leads collaboration among government and industry to develop multi-disciplined solutions to national security infrastructure challenges. Founded in 1920, the Society has a storied history of uniting public and private sector individuals and organizations from across the architecture, engineering, construction, environmental and facility management, cyber security, project planning, contracting and acquisition, and related disciplines in support of national security.
The Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) is an organization of more than 10,000 public and private sector professionals committed to advancing from solid waste management to resource management through their shared emphasis on education, advocacy, and research. For more than 60 years, SWANA has been the leading association in the solid waste management field. SWANA serves industry professionals through technical conferences, certifications, publications, and extensive technical training courses. SWANA is now the world's largest member-based solid waste association, with 47 Chapters in the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean. SWANA, the United States National Member of the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA), participates in and supports ISWA events and programs.

Founded in 1984, the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management® (IHMM®) is a not-for-profit organization. IHMM has been protecting the environment and the public’s health, safety, and security through the creation of credentials recognizing professionals who have demonstrated a high level of knowledge, expertise, and excellence in managing hazardous materials, dangerous goods transportation, environmental protection, health, and safety.
NDT.org is an online community dedicated to Nondestructive Inspection (NDI), Nondestructive Testing (NDT), Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE), and Quality Assurance/Control. The goal of NDT.org is to provide a meeting place for users, vendors, job seekers, providers, and the NDT community. Our industry comprises many applications, services, and products.
